A choice of two halls at Stone Pavilion that give you the best of both worlds!
River Hall is a light-filled contemporary space with a series of sliding doors opening on to a decked veranda overlooking parkland.
Castle Hall offers traditional touches, with a solid oak parquet floor, wall lights, a curtained-stage and a private garden area.
Both halls have separate entrances and washroom areas (including accessible and baby change) meaning they can operate independently or provide complimentary break out spaces for events as desired.
Each hall has access to a kitchen where guests can use the fridge, freezer, tea and coffee making facilities and a microwave. Both kitchens have an oven and one or two dishwashers.
Both halls provide chairs and a selection of round banquet and rectangle trestle tables that can accommodate alternate layouts according to the needs of the event.
The venue provides cutlery, crockery, and glasses which are included in the hire price. Additional extras such as set-up or clear up after your event can be booked at additional extra cost.
Both halls have fully-stocked bars with a fantastic selection of premium and standard wine, spirits and lager. Bar service is included in all evening party packages or can be booked by the hour for daytime events (additional charge applies). Bar tabs, arrival drinks, and special requests can be catered for – please discuss this with us when booking.

Bars are included in any package over 4 hours, but can also be added onto any booking for £20 per hour.
Stone Pavilion is a licensed premises with qualified bar staff. Both bars accept cash and card payments.

We only permit biodegradable confetti at Stone Pavilion.
Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons, bubble and snow machines are not permitted at Stone Pavilion.
The bar opens at 7pm for an evening party package (Saturday nights) and will close at 11.30pm.
River Hall holds 110 people standing or 75 people seated.
We have 22 free parking spaces, including 2 disabled bays. At the weekend there are no restrictions on the road so cars can also be parked there.
Yes, we have a ramp into the building to access River hall. We also have a disabled toilet in each of our halls.
We have an 8-week cancellation policy. Anything cancelled after this date will not receive a refund but may be able to postpone the event to another date.
We allow most events but all bookings must be made by someone 21 years or over. Unfortunately, we do not currently permit 16th or 18th birthday Parties.
The Recreation Ground can be hired for £12.50 per hour if you are also hiring River Hall.
Unfortunately, due to our smoke alarms we cannot allow smoke machines to operate in Stone Pavilion.
Hirers need to bring their own rubbish bags for rubbish and a tea towel should they need to dry up. We supply brooms, dustpans and mops to clean the hall and bins to dispose of your rubbish.

A tab can be set up with a member of bar staff. This should be done first thing as the bar opens.
Yes, the bar are able to stock specific drinks but please give as much notice as possible to save disappointment.
We ask that music is stopped at 11.30pm. We also ask that if you are hiring River Hall that from 9pm onwards the glass doors are closed to prevent nuisance to local residents. Guests are still welcome to access the balcony via these doors.
The bar can be hired during the day at a charge of £15 per hour, per member of bar staff. There is a 2-hour minimum hire.
Unfortunately, no animals (other than registered guide dogs) can be brought into the Pavilion.
Yes, as long as it is provided by a company that has relevant food hygiene certificates and valid public liability insurance.
No. Alcohol is prohibited from being brought onto the premises of Stone Pavilion. Anyone found to bring alcohol will be asked to leave the premises.
Soft drinks can only be brought along to parties that have not hired the bar and finish by 5pm.
Yes, but decorations cannot be fixed onto painted walls. However, they can be stuck to window and door frames, placed on tables or floor-standing.
Each hall provides 6 x 5ft round tables and 6 x 5ft x 2ft trestle tables and up to 75 chairs.
