What are the dimensions of River Hall?

What are the dimensions of Castle Hall?
Height: 10ft, Width: 24ft5, Length: 40ft3
Are there tables and chairs available?
Yes, we have 5ft round tables and 5ft x 3ft trestle tables. You will have access to at least 6 round tables and 8 trestle tables.
Can we put up our own decorations?
Yes, but they cannot be stuck onto the walls. The windows, doors and around the bar area are fine.
Can we provide our own catering?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own catering
Can we bring our own soft drinks?
Soft drinks can only be brought along to parties that have not hired the bar and finish by 5pm.
If you want to bring your own soft drinks to an evening party, there will be a surcharge of £200 and you cannot hire the bar.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
No. Alcohol is prohibited from being brought onto the premises of Stone Pavilion. Anyone found to bring alcohol will be asked to leave the premises.
Do you allow hog roasts/ BBQ’s?
Yes, as long as it is provided by a company who have valid public liability insurance.
Can we have an animal party?
Unfortunately, animals cannot be brought into the Pavilion
Can we hire a bar during the day?
The bar can be hired during the day at a charge of £15 per hour, per member of bar staff. There is a 2-hour minimum hire.
Are there time restrictions for music?
We ask that hirers stop music at 11.30pm. We also ask that if you are hiring River Hall that from 9pm onwards the glass doors are shut to reduce noise to the local residents. Guests are still welcome to go in and out of the hall via these doors.
Can you request specific drinks for the bar to serve?
Yes, the bar is able to stock specific drinks but please give as much notice as possible to save disappointment.
Can you put a tab behind the bar?
A tab can be set up with a member of bar staff. This should be done first thing as the bar opens.
What is the capacity of River hall?
River Hall can hold 125 people standing or 80 people seated.
What is the capacity of Castle hall?
Castle Hall can hold 110 people standing or 80 people seated.
Are there cleaning products for hirers to use when cleaning the hall?
Hirers ned to bring their own black bags for rubbish and a tea towel should they need to dry up. We supply brooms, dustpans and mops to clean the hall and bins to dispose of your rubbish.
Can we have a smoke machine?
Unfortunately, due to our smoke alarms we cannot allow smoke machines to operate in Stone Pavilion.
How many free parking spaces do you have?
We have 25 free parking spaces, including 2 disabled bays. At the weekend there are no restrictions on the road so cars can also be parked there.
Is the building DDA compliant?
Yes, we have a ramp into the building to access River hall. We also have a disabled toilet in each of our halls.
Can we hire the recreation Ground?
The Recreation Ground can be hired for £12.50 per hour if you are also hiring River Hall.
What is your cancellation policy for confirmed events?
We have an 8-week cancelation policy. Anything cancelled after this date will not receive a refund but may be able to postpone the event to another date.
Are there any events you do not allow?
We allow most events but all bookings must be made by someone 21 years or over. We ask that 16th, 18th and 21st birthdays have responsible adults in attendance.
Do you have wifi?
Yes, we have wifi throughout the building and the password can be obtained from reception.
Can I book the venue for a conference?
Yes, we hire out the venue for conferences and are able to offer discounted rates and catering should you require this. Please email bookings@stoneparishcouncil.com for further details.
Private Hire FAQ’s
We only permit biodegradable confetti at Stone Pavilion.
Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons, bubble and snow machines are not permitted at Stone Pavilion.
The bar opens at 7pm for an evening party package (Saturday nights) and will close at 11.30pm.
